Competition Rules

Investigate using the evidence supplied by iDetective. Official submissions are locked after submission. Scores are calculated after the competition closes, and winners are subject to verification. The intended scoring model is 100 points: culprit 40, motive 25, method 20, evidence/reasoning 15. Attempts to cheat, tamper with the service, exploit unpublished information or submit through unauthorized automation may result in disqualification or account action. Final prize amounts, eligibility, deadlines, tie-breakers and winner verification procedures must be published for each live competition.
